Gators Coach looks to beat Tennessee

Saturday night, the Florida Gators will look to beat the Tennessee Volunteers in Knoxville. This is Coach Dan Mullen's first time against the Vols as the leader of the Gators football program. He is no stranger to big rivalry games, but he's never seen anything like this. “It will be a great challenge for our team. First road game for me here at Florida, so I want to see how our players are going to respond to the adversity, having to go on the road and play in a really tough environment. I think we’ve worked hard in practice. That’s what you do it for, tough battles in the SEC.”

Right now, Florida is 27-20 all time over Tennessee. Average scoring is usually Florida  21.4  - Tennessee  20.7. While these two programs have been down of late, the games have been highly competitive the past 4 years. All 4 have been decided by 10-points or less, with 3 of the 4 decided by fewer than a touchdown. Last year the Gators won 26-20 as a 6.5-point home favorite and marked the 3rd straight year in which the home team has come out on top.

Coach Dan Mullen and his squad looks to add another chapter to this storied rivalry tonight. Listen in on the game here at 930 The Game
