After a fantastic night at the "VMAs" Monday night, POST MALONE had a pretty horrible Tuesday, when a plane he was on had to make an emergency landing.
The Gulfstream jet had just taken off from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, and was headed for the U.K., when the pilot realized the left tires had blown.
The plane had to fly around for hours to burn off fuel, in anticipation of a rough landing. But luckily, it came down smoothly in New Windsor, New York . . . about an hour north of where it took off.
Malone Facetimed with TMZ after the landing, and said he was "shook". He also said he needed, quote, "a beer . . . and some wine at the same time, mixed together."
(WARNING!!! For Language! Here's video.)
Malone got a lot of attention on social media throughout the ordeal, but not all of it was positive. He Tweeted, quote, "Can't believe how many people wished death on me on this website. [Eff] you. But not today."
