Police Find Loaded AR-15 In Back Seat Of UF WR Kadarius Toney's Car

Gainesville police officers found a loaded AR-15 in the back seat of Florida WR Kadarius Toney's car during a traffic stop in which they pulled Toney over for a seat belt violation. The police officers debated whether or not to arrest Toney, which they ultimately decided not to as they found that Toney was not in violation of Florida's open-carry law.

When asked, Toney told the police that he was carrying the weapon because "they be coming after us", referring to the locals in Gainesville.

Toney is one of the best athletes the Gators have, and is expected to have a large role on the team. The Gators start camp later this week.
