Buccaneers Investigating Threatening Tweet Sent To GM

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are investigating a threatening tweet sent to Bucs general manager Jason Licht. The tweet in question was sent on Friday night, during the second round of the NFL Draft and featured a gif of a brutal murder from the movie "King of New York", with a caption stating "When I see Jason Licht the next time I roll through Tampa."

The fan identified himself as Mike Rogers from Houston and told the Tampa Bay Times that the tweet was nothing more than an exaggeration:

"Yes, that was a total exaggeration. Just caught up in the moment. It was just a tasteless tweet. I'm not a psychopath."

There is no word yet on whether Rogers faces any kind of criminal charges.
