According to Floridagators.com, Spurrier has been named a head coach in the Alliance of American Football and will continue to serve as the ambassador for Florida’s athletic program.
Spurrier will become the first coach of the AAF’s first team which will be based in Orlando and call UCF their home stadium next winter.
