I love stories like this where things come full circle . . .
A woman in Minnesota named Jen Pratt was diagnosed with cancer over 20 years ago when she was 11.
Doctors found a tumor in her leg. So she needed surgery and about a year of chemo before she finally beat it.
Believe it or not, the whole experience made her want to spend MORE time in hospitals. So she decided to pursue a career in medicine, and went to medical school.
And now she's giving back . . . by working as a doctor at the SAME HOSPITAL in St. Paul that treated her.
The coolest part is some of her old nurses are still there. So now instead of being their patient, she gets to work with them.
This isn't the first time we've seen a story like this, by the way. There was a similar story last year about a 24-year-old nurse in Atlanta, who now works at the same children's hospital that helped HER beat cancer.
(Here are photos of Jen as a kid and an adult.)
