When "Game of Thrones" returns for its final season next year, most of the characters aren't expected to survive. And that's not a spoiler, because the show has ALWAYS been a bloodbath. By one count, there have been 174,373 deaths.
An HBO exec recently said, quote, "It was a really powerful moment [when production started]. None of the cast had received the scripts prior, and one by one they started falling down to their deaths."
Technically, it's unclear whether she's referring to their characters' deaths, or the actors' general shock.
