Coca-Cola just announced they're launching a new ALCOHOLIC drink in Japan. It's made out of sparkling water and a Japanese liquor called shochu, and it's the first alcoholic recipe they've ever come up with.
Coke HAS messed around a little with booze in the past, but it's been a while. In the '70s, they bought some wine businesses in America . . . but the venture failed, and they haven't gone back down that road since.
So . . . now that they're doing it in Japan, could they start making booze over here too? The CEO is definitely keeping it on the table. He says, quote, "Never say never."
