If you're looking for a new important cause to back through the power of social media, here you go!
A guy named Carter Wilkerson from Reno, Nevada tweeted Wendy's on Wednesday, asking, quote, "Yo @Wendys, how many retweets for a year of free chicken nuggets?"
And they actually responded: 18 million!
Now . . . that's a pretty ridiculous goal, considering the all-time record for retweets was that selfie that ELLEN DEGENERES took at the Oscars a few years back, and it only got 3.3 million. Carter would need almost six times that.
But . . . he's trying. And shockingly, it's going pretty well.
As of right now, his tweet has over 2 million retweets. And while that's not 18 million, it's still an INSANE amount of retweets for some random dude trying to get free chicken nuggets.
