Brainerd found a Bloomberg News story that has many golf courses that have closed have become prime real estate for e-commerce businesses, like Amazon, to build fulfillment warehouses. There is tons of land, many acres, that can house these massive fulfillment facilities. And as KB said the maintenance costs of golf courses can be huge with all the chemicals and man hours, and you are one bad weather season away from turning a profit into a massive loss.
