Five former SEC early entrants elected to stay in the NBA Draft, but they unfortunately went undrafted Thursday night.
Those five are below:
- Jared Harper, Auburn
- Lamar Peters, Mississippi State
- Jontay Porter, Missouri
- Naz Reid, LSU
- Simi Shittu, Vanderbilt
They can not return to college and must now try to work their up to the NBA either thru the D-League or overseas. The most surprising of the five is LSU’s Naz Reid. He did sign a two-way contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves immediately following the draft.
