Former Florida State QB Deondre Francois has officially landed with Lane Kiffin and FAU.
Francois was dismissed from FSU, in February, after a video surfaced of a potential domestic violence incident.
The former Seminoles’ quarterback has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
“Means the world to me to get another opportunity to play football again,” Francois said. Just the situations that have happened with me off the field, I feel like I could have avoided those situations being around the right people and having the right people around me. I feel FAU has the right supporting cast. When I went down for a visit it was very family oriented and something new for me.”
Francois, an Orlando native, threw for 3,350 yards and 20 touchdowns as a freshman in 2016. He suffered a brutal season-ending injury in the 2017 opener against Alabama. He threw for 2,731 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2018.
